Patrick Pevernagie called me up one day for a co-op. He runs his knife making shop not far from my place. He's a master in hand making knives of all sorts, but specializes in Japanese kitchen cutters. You can admire his work or even better: Be blown away by his skills when unboxing your own personalized made knife! Look him up on https://www.ipknives.be/ .
So he let me run free in my own little head to design something cool to etch on a blade. I always loved pin-up girls on the side of bombers or fighter planes in World War 2, so I thought that might be cool to do. And with a bit of Hawaiian sauce on it might look good enough. Well, he was happy, I was happy, and the etching quality was as usual top-notch. Good job from the both of us!
